About

The world is full of magic and whimsy, and as such the realm of storytelling has been my escape for a long time, finding shelter in creativity. Growing up homeschooled in New Zealand, I was fortunately never far from enchanting land and seascapes, so the world became my personal canvas to bridge the real and surreal. I got into writing, photography and film-making quite young, making short films with my friends which later led me to studying Costume & Art Department at South Seas Television School in 2013.While I was studying, I picked up Cosplay as a hobby, and it was through the discovery of expression of fandom that I found my first true community. I got to find out more about myself, begin to undo the suppression of my childhood I’d always fled from. I began to recognize my queerness, and take true strides towards my own personal freedom.It was also through fandom that I fell in love with Voice Acting. Growing up, my selection of cartoons was limited due to my upbringing, so I’d never truly conceived just how much life there was behind Voice Acting until adulthood. From Video Games and Anime, to fan projects on YouTube and Tumblr. A vastness of expression beyond anything I’d found before. I wanted that.In late 2021, I joined a project called 'Echo-S' - a voice acting game mod, made with permission, for the PC version of the original Final Fantasy 7, by Tsunamods & Studio STILL. And it was there I truly began to find my footing, voicing NPCs, and working with others towards my goals. Thus I finally got to meet and play with other actors, coming together to tell stories.To Be Continued
